Region 8 Weekend

Image
The Twin Cities was host to this year's Region VIII weekend. Collegiate women from Nebraska, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota attended sessions to share ideas to make their chapters better.  Our Alumnae chapter helped run the day, but Grace Bartholet and Barb Brotherton took the important roles of planning.  We also found time to gather with the Alumnae from the region in the alumnae suite.  The photos show how fun and fabulous the weekend was. The Alumnae Bears. All together, we presented Starkey with 124 bears from the weekend! Alumnae Lounge Alumnae Lounge Hostesses New Alumnae Initiate Renee White, and her daughter Abby Wright (Theta Mu).  Charter members of Theta Mu enjoyed catching up over coffee.

Spring Luncheon

Image
March 16, 2013 The Golden Valley Country Club was the beautiful backdrop for this year's spring luncheon. We all wished that we could wear our cute spring sandals, but cute boots had to do with all of the snow still left on the ground. The quiche and French toast brunch was amazing. We met a few new ladies as we chatted around the table. Paula McQuillen, Foundation Vice President and Barb Brotherton, TCA President and newly appointed National Philanthropy Chair shared remarks on behalf of the sorority and chapter. The raffle was fun as usual, with handmade gifts as the most coveted of the prizes. Thank you to Julie Hauser for infusing a touch of spring into this snowy month.
